A little about me E-mail
Tuesday, 27 December 2005
I was born on april 10 in 1970 in Assen, a small town in the North of The Netherlands.
The place is well know because of the Dutch TT races, but for the rest, it is quite a quiet town.
Best time of the year to be in Assen is with the Dutch TT races. The town is crowded and we have the most beautifull traffic jam of the year.

I grew up in a little village with my parents and my two little brothers.

As a little kid I already had an interest in motorcycles. That was probably triggered because we lived reasonably close to the Dutch TT circuit. My dad took us every year to the TT night where thousands of bikers gathered and I used to look at bikes for hours.

My first camera I got at the age of 10. It was a compact Konica Pop camera.
Throughout time, making pictures always had my interesest and I always have been looking for amazing things to catch on camera. My field of interest is wide. Since a couple of years I use a digital camera (Canon D60) with a 17-35 2.8 L USM lens, a Canon 28-80 2.8 L USM lens and a 70-200 2.8 L USM lens.
After a few years I sold the D60 and upgraded to a 30D. This is the one I use nowadays.

My other passion is travelling and seeing a bit more of this amazing world. I have seen amazing people, animals, nature and is has been a pleasure to get familiar with the different cultures that this planet offers.
June 15, 2008 I got married to Edmond and now we share the passion of driving motorcycles in the mountains, and travelling to various parts of the world. It feels great to share our lives together. And especially since we share the same interests.
On July 30, 2010 another dream came true!
Our son Atlas Cameron was born on this beautifull friday. He weighs 4.165 grams and is approx 51 cm tall. The length didn'nt seem to be just, cause after only 4 weeks he measured 58 cm!
We are very happy with our little man and every day is a new adventure. Talking about exploring the world... for him everything is new and it's a great thing to watch him learn and observe!
